Description:
The ASI-221-1 is a universal test panel for ARINC 5 XX navigation receivers. The test panel was designed to test Collins 51R/51RV series receivers but will also test most other ARINC 5 XX standard navigation receivers.
The ASI-221-1 includes the following features:
· Compass Simulator for control of RMI compass card.
· VOR-LOC/GS deviation/flag meter with multiple load switching.
· Test Points for all pins in the UUT and Test connectors.
· VOR-LOC/GS super flag output indicator lamps.
· ILS indicator lamp to indicate ILS mode of operation.
· Control unit (user supplied) for selecting frequency.
· RMI (user supplied) indicates relative bearing.
· Phone jack/test points for measuring VOR/LOC receiver audio.
· UUT test cable (ASI-22-11A) for navigation receiver under test.
· Two test conn Cables,32P(ASI-22-11B) and 25P(ASI-22-11C).
· Breakout box/Adapter Cable functions added.
· Data ports added for receivers with serial tuning option.
· Data port added for receivers with digital bearing output option.

The ASI-221-1 requires a control head (313N-3 or equivalent) and RMI (332C-2, IN-16A, 2105, 2108, 36105, 36108 or equivalent) for proper operation. The control head and RMI are user supplied.

A track selector is also required for testing. Adapter cables that mate the ASI-221-1 to the ASI-161, 479V-3 or ASI-190 are available. 		Equipment Supplied:
